We got back from the vet not too long ago. They cleaned out the wound & gave him an injection of anti-biotics & Rimadyl for the pain. Our vet said the whole nail came off & it looks like it will grow back, but weird. Later on, we have to see if he needs to have surgery to take the bone out or not, depending on how the nail grows.
Momo is on my lap knocked out. I gave him some more torb-val for the pain. Doc said to give it to him til tomorrow. They put a neon green bandage on him...looks like he's wearing little booties.
