Our yorkies are two years apart and I did not want to wait to get a second becuase of the difference in enegy levels if you wait too long. We had our first Yorkie for 13 years before we got ms Daisy, and although she had him acting like a puppy again, he only lived for another year, and he could obviously not keep up with his little sister (who however hard he tried, he was unable to dominate). The pipster usually was in the mood for a nap after 5 minutes of play with his new sister!

Two are more than twice as fun at one, for sure. Just be sure you can afford it as the acquisiion cost is small compared to the total ownership cost of getting a pet, as you probably realize.
