Actually I have. The vet said no food at all the first day and then regular diet the next. I asked shouldn't I put them on soft food for a few days and was told it was better to put them back on their regular diet. (Royal Canin for Yorkshires).
I'm upset this morning and am taking Gracie back to the clinic as soon as they open. They gave them a (nsaid) medicine called metacam yesterday to give by mouth, once a day. Gracie has stopped the shaking but she's acting like she feels really bad. She's laying on my lap sleeping and she feels very warm to me. It could be just the medicine, but I'm not taking any chances. They had this done on Thursday. I thought they would be over it by today. |
