Oh my gosh, I know how you feel. My Maddy lost his nail on Sunday. There was so much blood! Poor little guy, I felt so bad. He was hurting for maybe a day or so, but he's back to his normal self now. When I took him to the vet, he told me to put styptic powder on it to control the bleeding and put a bootie over it to protect it. I bought him a little pair of booties, but they sucked(he wouldn't keep them on), so I bought a pair of baby socks(newborn) and taped it on. It kept his foot clean and dry, and he didn't seem to mind it. |
