It's 10:35pm here & I think we can wait til tomorrow morning to go to the vet. He kept licking his paw & I checked it & it was bleeding. He lost his whole dewclaw. I cleaned it w/hydrogen peroxide & put Clotisol on it to stop the bleeding & he screamed in pain.
Was I not supposed to put that on? I thought it would be better than styptic powder.
I know he's in pain, so I gave him some torb-val. He's all bandaged up & sleeping now. I'll be taking him to the vet tomorrow.
It's nothing serious, but please say a little prayer for my little guy please...& for him not to get into any more trouble. I almost fainted when I saw all that blood...
It's a good thing we have one of Bo's softee collars...I got it 'just in case' & whadya know.
