As some of you may remember, awhile back I completed an adoption application for a yorkie named Danny that was at my local shelter. Here is the link to the thread about it: I hope I get him! I fell in love with him, and he was such a sweet dog, but in the end he was adopted to someone else. I was devastated. I thought I had the perfect home for him, and I really wanted to add another furbaby to the family.

Well, earlier this week, that same humane society gave me a call to let me know that they have another yorkie up for adoption. Apparently, a few nights ago, someone dropped off a kennel with a yorkie mom and a few babies right in front of the shelter. (Can you believe someone would do that!?) Well.. I guess they saw how upset I was over losing Danny, so they are giving me an opportunity to adopt one of these little guys. They are currently staying in a volunteer's home (thank goodness they don't have to stay in the shelter).. so she wants me to come and meet with the babies tomorrow, at 3PM. They believe that the pups are now 12 - 14 weeks old so I will be taking one home tomorrow night. How will I choose!? lol. So I guess it all worked out. I wasn't chosen to get Danny, but now I am getting a puppy!

I am sooo excited I can barely stand it! I promise to post pics of my new baby boy tomorrow night, right when I bring him home!

I am pretty sure we are going to name him Marshall, which is Jimi Hendrix’s middle name. So now I will have a Jimi, a Marshall, and a Hendrix. Now who’s the creep?

I probably won’t be sleeping much tonight! I can’t wait to see him.
