I would say that you can't feed them the same food because your pup needs puppy food. If your older dog id on senior you are probably doing the right thing if it has been working for you. I feed my pup a mixture of Puppy Pro Plan and Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lover's Soul. I know the hard part will be not leaving the food down all the time so everyone isn't eating the wrong food.
