Something to Consider Very odd...I posted a reply, but I don't know where it went.
Anyway, just something to keep in mind. I got Sydney a Second Nature litter pan months ago. I too put her puppy pad in the bottom of it. Syd is puppy pad trained and does pretty well at 6 months. She will not, however, use the pad on her own if it's in the litter pan. The only times I can get her to use it is in the middle of the night when she's half asleep. Even then I have to pick her up and put her inside of it. During the day, I leave it out near the living room so she can sniff the outside of it. If I put her in the pan during the day, she sniffs a bit, but then she starts to shake and look sad. So remember, you can lead a dog to a litter pan, but you can't make her make. |
