I.... feel for you as my Lucy ran out clear to the street this very week. I too am trying to teach stay as a way to keep her from running out before me. You have received some wonderful advice which I have learned from also. My sweet puppy Maty died running into the street after a squirrel 5 years ago and was hit by a car, and I hope to never have to go through that again or hear of that happening again.
