ITA!
It's hard to know what is right for our puppers...With my first dog, I wasn't informed & bought her first bag of food from PetSmart. Since then, I've tried to read about the topic and learn more about dog nutrition.
Both my foster Yorkie & mini dachshund love Innova Evo. I tried Solid Gold & my dachshund ate it, but Sophie (the foster Yorkie) turned her nose up at it! BTW, my dachshund eats all food...
For a while, I made food for my mini dachshund (eggs, chicken, green beans, chicken broth, carrots) and she LOVED it. I made big batches & froze it. I would zap it in the microwave for each meal. It just got expensive & time-consuming, so we went back to Evo.
I've thought about going raw, but I get an icky feeling about feeding that to my furbabies! I know it's very good for them...
