Never heard of Scott Westerfield, but as I'm almost done with the series I'm working on now, and seeing as you seem to have the same taste as I do, I just may look those up.
Ironically, my aunt turned me on to Twilight, I saw on Meyer's site the recomendation for Hunger Games, read them, and then turned around and got my aunt addicted to them in return!
