you can't go wrong owning a yorkie. They are very special dogs. I love mine to pieces! I waited for a long time to get one as well and it turns out to be worth the wait. I searched for a couple years because they are expensive. I got mine from a rescue in Issaquah. Adoption fees were very reasonable and made it worth the drive from Puyallup. Be a yorkie angel yourself and adopt one. Save a life and save some money.
My little guy is so gorgeous it's hard to believe he came from a rescue. Perfect dog. Socialized, friendly and was easy to potty train. I heard the potty training thing can be difficult. The only thing is...he is glued to me when i'm home. He's grown very attached to me because he has been in a few foster homes. Be prepared to have time for the baby.
