I do know that when Dixie's time came there was no denying it and we let her go. My heart goes out to you and I will keep you all in my prayers.
So sorry to hear about your Dixie. We too have taken Brody to a specialist and also have had many opinions and they are all the same. He was born with JRD and so his kidneys are not developed the damage is very bad. Most puppies die at birth but Brody beat the odds and got to live a while longer. He has been on medicines and fliuds but at this point the vet feels nothing else can be done. So we are making him as comfortable as possible and trying our best to enjoy the time we have left with him.
