There is no need to apologize, part of what is great about this site is the chance it gives all of us to learn more about our dogs and make better decisions regarding them. Everybody was new to this at some point and we're just trying to help. You can use the search above to check topics discussed on how to choose a good breeder, terms that are unfamiliar, diet, health issues or just about anything.
