This is my first Yorkie and the breeder that my Husband got Dallas from told him NO TABLE FOOD or it will damage his organs

But I see that many YT members give their furbabies chicken, fruit ect... so is it ok, My Husband got very mad
at me for given Dallas a few cheerios for sitting and staying. I don't want to hurt him. He is a year and 3 months old and about 6 pounds (P.S. I know he can't have chocolate)
