I'm starting to come to the conclusion that it's largely genetic. I've been working with Thor for over a year and I have yet to see him play with another dog.

He goes to a special small doggy daycare 2x/week that is run by certified ASPCA trainers. He has gone for months and they said he played a bit with one dog recently.

So while I still think soialization is a big factor, a lot of it is just built in. I still think Thor can get much more comfortable with his own kind, he'll always be more of a people dog.
