Duncan just scared me to death...

When I was trying to tell post lady that I have outgoing mails with doors open, he just run out!

He was sitting away from the door and listend to the command sit and stay, it just happened in ONE second... I rushed out to chase him. It's just horrible, the post lady ignored me telling her that I have mails and Duncan jumped around her for a little bit, Duncan was just running everywhere and it's raining hard..

He didnt have this problem before, never try to step out the front door himself, just change his habbit all in a sudden some time recently. How should I let him know he should never do this again?
