How much do you feed him ? 1/4 cup at a time more/ less? His ribs should be palpable and his spine not. Feel his loin area and there should not be excess skin there.
Wha tis most concerning are two thing 1) hungry all the time and 2) shaking in between meals. Either one or both may indicate an underlying problem.
Please if you have not talked to your vet about this do so ASAP/
