ok - I got this one...
Take him to a park for 4 1/2 hours, make him walk home. Give him a few tablespoons of warm milk. Position him in a comfortable area close to your hair utensils. When his head starts to nod, grab him by the scruff of the neck, wrestle him to the ground, rub his belly and coo, and pray he eventually gives up and passes out.
If he does, perform the rest of the maneuver with utmost stealth, and when he wakes up, act like nothing happened.
