I have the same problem with Roxy... still. She is that way with all humans & dogs. Wag, wag, wag, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle along with jumping up on both on/off lead. I don't mind it for myself, but I don't like other peoples dogs jumping on me any more than others like her doing it to them. Have found nothing in books/articles to help this particular situation.

The only thing that helped one time was when meeting a person who I talked to for awhile, was keeping her on short leash so she couldn't quite reach the woman. Eventually she calmed down & sat like a good girl. I haven't had an opportunity to keep working that angle long enough to make that idea stick in her mind, so I don't know if it is going to work long term or not. She is just so happy happy all the time & of course all the people/dogs in the world are alllll about her! I love that about her, but let's face it, it's not good manners. I know her focus should be on me, but we just aren't there yet.
