Aw, I feel ya - I know how frustrating this can be!! I stopped Pixel from doing this by sending him to his "room" every time he had something he shouldn't. I also worked hard to perfect the "drop it" command. Now when he sees me see him with something he shouldn't, I don't even have to say "drop it" because he immediately lets it go and runs to his room putting himself in time-out lol Good luck - it just takes time and patience, but you'll get there
