Default opening their mouth

I have this problem with Belle also. She is a Morkie with a strong Yorkie attitude like her mom.. She loves paper of any kind, especially tissue, toilet paper and paper towels. She thinks it's a game, she comes to where I can see that she's got something and then she takes off. Finally she will get up on the couch and put her butt in the air and her head down and cover her face with one paw. It's her "look how cute I am" stance. I open her mouth with fingers on both side of her jaws and her lips are usually tucked under then she can't bite. I worry about her swallowing things before I can get to her as she seems to find every little thing on the floor. I don't get to concerened about tissue as it's usually not a big piece. My husband says then she can poop and wipe her butt at the same time .
She has never really tried to bite me except when I comb her and try to work out a matt. She will snap. She is 15 months so that is not allowed at all. I tried a muzzle but she got so upset I had to give in. She has pretty much learned by the tone of my voice when she has gone too far. I had hopes of a little girly dog with ribbons and bows and cuddling with mommy. We got Belle, who we souldn't trade for the world but there are no ribbons that last longer than a few minutes. She does like to cuddle with mommy but the majority of the time is spent tormenting our 12 yr old lab or thinking what to chew up next.
