WELCOME BACK!!!! That is very interesting... I have a dark boy with weird head coloring. His muzzle is completely tan, yet the top of his head is gray like an old man, he's got golden ears with black tips.
I do believe that weird gene expression of color is very much possible. What else can explain all the different colors that you see in yorkies?
