I wish I / or someone could answer this for you...but honestly...I don't really know how it could be answered. My best advice here would be that she call the ER Vet and see if she can consult w/ a tech or the vet.
Bright blood in the stool is often from the colon - but dark, tarry stools can mean internal bleeding. But there is no way to really know what's happening here...
Is there vomiting? How is the dog behaving? Appetite?
