I have actually thought about a small muzzle which would also help maybe with getting his nails cut...I don't want to frighten him though too much...but he gets so uptight when he gets things...My other Yorkies always dropped everything straight away....Dustie is so different...
I have tried trading with treats..trouble is he knows this and just swallows what is in his mouth first..if he can...more worrying.!!!

OMGGGG Lucy does the same thing and it drives me bananas!
She isn't too bad with chewing or eating things.... but when she does have something in her mouth and I try and take it from her she just swallows it as fast as she can! Not a very good situation incase she ever has anything dangerous. Ugh- they can be such little brats haha.
