Default Thanks so much

Thank you everyone so much. I have been so nervous lately and never know what to believe when I read the facts about yorkies.
Anywho, an aquaintance of mines mom bought her, and decided she wasn't ready for a puppy--this left me feeling HORRIBLE so I decided to take her. The person who gave her up is going to pay for her first few vet bills.
She got her from plainfield. The parents were on sight and Sophie will be 8 weeks on the 23rd. She was born November 23rd 2009. I am already so attached but still, a nervous reck-haha. The breeder said she will be around 5-6 pounds but she is still such a little girl.
I have decided against letting her sleep with me because I am worried of rolling over or her falling. I have bought a playpen from toys r us that is mesh and raised a little bit over the ground..inside I have putt her pee pads, tons of blankets, her food, and her water.
She is doing pretty well with going potty and i kiss and praise her everytime she does. Right now, I have her eating Ukanuba puppy food (small breed). Thats what the breeder was feeding her. She is eating well and I have been crushing up a cookie with 1/4 vitamin she was sent home with. I didn't know if I ever should put her on wet food, thats why I was asking. Since all my other dogs eat it, I was just seeing if I ever should or not. She got her first set of shots on 1/14 and she is due 1/28, so I will be taking her then.
I plan to keep her coat short. I think the long hair would be too hard to tame, plus I think the short coats are cute! it's so funny because only one ear is up right now, and she only has a few teeth so far. She is absolutely adorable though. She has been sleeping all day because I don't think she has gotten good sleep. I know this sounds very stupid, but is it normal for her to be sleeping alot? I figured since she is a small little puppy she will. I have her blanket from her mommy so she sleeps with that-the breeder said I should keep it unwashed for at least a week. She sleeps good through the night except last night she woke up and I let her sleep with me for a little while then put her back in her playpin. My only other concern really is sometimes her nose gets pretty wet, is this normal too?
Callie Lou-she looks very very similar to your pup, except shes black and brown. a little silver too! I would like to get a pic up but have to figure out how first.
Introduced her to one of my dauchsaunds and they seem to get along pretty well. My pup thinks she is sophies mom and has been very concerned with her every move. I am going to wait a little while until I fully set her down. I am such a nervous nelly, I know. I am only 20 years old--luckily I still live with my parents so they are here to help or I would go crazy! haha. Also, she has gotten kind of mad when I tried to put a collar on her--maybe she just doesn't know what it is? I am training her inside for the winter because its way too cold right now. Patti-I live in Hinsdale--not too far away.
Thank you everyone for helping me along the way--i have had a few breakdowns so far because I am just so worried! Keep the facts coming, better more then none!
