Not that I'm soliciting or anything  - but I did do some research yesterday before donating, and found that the % of $ that goes to services for a few charities is:
93% for UNICEF
92% for Red Cross
87% for Doctors Without Borders
Just a little fyi , to save anyone time who might be wondering.
And actually right now for UNICEF - for the "U.S." fund, I learned today that "100% of all donations to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF will go directly to support relief efforts in Haiti. The U.S. Fund for UNICEF is absorbing all administrative fees associated with processing donations." |
