Everyone is going through an adjustment but it's been much easier than I expected in a lot of ways. They have an appointment Friday for spays/dentals/microchipping and I'm dreading that. I know I'll be waiting for the phone to ring all day, and then the poor babies will be recovering. But I know they'll feel so much better once they have all this done - especially getting some of those teeth pulled. |
Oh gosh...I know *exactly* what you're feeling as I just went thru these feelings getting Ambrey spayed. I felt so bad that first night, but then she brightened right up the very next morning. The rescue didn't automatically pay for pain pills, btw, but I bought some for her -- just thought I'd mention that as I almost walked out that darn clinic door and then I was all "WAIT!!! Pain pills for Ambrey!!" -- I was a little slow
