Well, my babies are 8 1/2 and 9 1/2 months. I do shave about 1/3 of the way down the ears to take the weight off. The younger one has heavier ears, and hers are the floppy ones. The older has much lighter ears. Guess that's why hers stand sometimes.

I read a thread on here about the tear mend that you can use, with a cut-out piece of brown paper sack, gluing it to the ear leather (inner) to get to stand.

Are they too old to give that a try? I really don't want to hurt them, or cause stress in any way, but since I do plan to eventually breed them, the pups may sell better if the mamma has erect ears.
