I don't know if it's the same in CA, but I believe, in Texas, if a dog has a reaction to a rabies shot, the vet can make a decision, legally, for the dog not to have any more rabies shots...Then you can decide if there is more risk w/another rabies shot, or more risk that he will contract rabies...I would definitely do titers (think that's how you spell it?), before I'd give another shot to a pup that had already had a reaction.......Sooooooo glad your baby is doing better
