 Doing Good
Well it’s been four days with our new addition and she is doing great. We have decided to call her Emme. She is so playfully...we love it. She is eating well. She is into everything....OH MY GOSH...she is such a puppy. The playpen we got is perfect. After she runs around for a couple of hours, we put her in it for a nap. She goes right into her bed and sleeps. Never barks except to play. Bitsy, my poor baby, does not know how to play. Emme bites Bitsy's legs, so funny, and Bitsy tells her to stop it. We always watch when they are all down on the floor. Teddy loves to play but does not like to share his toys. There is a toy game going on between him and Emme. If he has the toy...then she wants it. If he gets another toy...she wants that one too. So Teddy goes up on the couch with his toy and she can't get it. She barks at him to come down. This is hilarious. We have moved the ottoman out of the family room so we can all play on the floor. We will bring it back up in a couple months when the playing slows down. Right now it is play time each day.
Well the long weekend is at an end. Kids go back to school tomorrow and life returns to normal. It was a nice several days to spend quietly getting to know Emme and her getting to know us. I think she is already has settled into a routine and feels at home. Thanks again everyone for all the kind words and wishes. |
