I'm all for walking dogs, no matter how small. I think with any small dog you need to be more cognizant of those dogs around you, but that's no reason to not walk them. The LOVE walking. Mine are 4.5 pounds (should be more, just skinny) and almost 6 and can walk 4 miles at a time. They LOVE their walks
