!!! I do have a few tips for you the I wish I never did, went through etc with my Snickers.
1) If you're planning on crating Fenric at night, PLEASE keep his crate in your room at night time. I was clueless and crated Snickers in our laundry room, all alone, at a new home, with strangers who took him home sleeping in the other room listening to him cry. It breaks my heart to this day that I did that and made him feel so alone. Dogs want to be with their pack, and YOU are Fenric's pack
!! Also during the day, I recommend you putting his crate where the most action is during the day.
2) Please feed him a high quality food & treats. It can increase his life span!! A good website many of us refer to is:
Dog Food Analysis - Reviews of kibble I would only feed a food 4 stars and up
in my opinion. It's a tricky thing with Yorkies, and may take time to find the perfect food, they can be super picky.
3) Please use a harness (one that does not touch the neck) when walking Fenric. Yorkies are prone to collapsed tracheas and collars on Yorkies are only used to hold their tags.
