Actually, one of my Yorkie information books says that Yorkies are one breed that nearly always insists on sleeping with their human. I know it is a concern when they are tiny, but it seemed that I automatically knew they were beside me......just like if it was one of my children. One of mine is 3 lbs. and snuggles every night. When mine were young and I knew they couldn't hold their pee for very long, I set a very loud timer beside the bed to get up and take my baby out. The general rule is: hold their pee for 1 hour for every month they are old. Might seem daunting but it passes very quickly.
