Not weird at all -- the possible association with the bath sprayer is the reason I held out for so long before employing this method.
Maximo doesn't mind being wet in general, so I think the bark deterrent is less about being sprayed and more about wondering what substance is being sprayed and what kind of effect it will have. I am confidant that my guy won't associate the bottle with his bath -- definitely depends on the dog.
