I have resorted to the spray bottle with water.  So far, so good. I've only sprayed twice. Maximo thinks I'm spraying something mysterious on him. Now all I have to do is pick up the bottle and say, "Do you need some no-bark spray?"

I never tried the spray bottle yet, I am hesitant to because I don't want her to associate it with when she gets a bath and that it's a bad thing (my bath is only one of those spray shower heads on a hose type thing that you can move around). I don't know if that's a weird consideration or not. Maybe I'll give it a try. I'd still like some more suggestions if I could
