So I went to the vet to pick up the prescription dog food. And I cannot afford it. For an 8 pound bag it costs $60
I went to the pet store here in town and they recommended another type of food. It's not science diet, it's precise. My dogs like the food so we went with the light food which is 18% protein (better than the regular dog food they have which is 24% protein or the same brand but puppy food which is 29% protein). I'm just not sure what to do because I cannot afford a prescription food like science diet. But he has magnesum based crystals. I'm just struggling to figure out what to do.
