But he is really a purebread, I did months of reasearch before purchasing him and even talked to AKC Judges, etc. Any yorkie that is over 6/7 Pounds is either not purebread or could be a silke, purebread full grown yorkies should be between 4 and 6/7 lbs full grown so everyone that says when they are that small is wrong, but it is possible that the bigger one could be a silkie. I have noticed that everyone on here loves there pets very much so if you're happy then why does it matter, lol. Also, some yorkies have silver on there crown (as bentley does) but i don't know why it would be on there whole bodies, although i must say that puppiesshould be all black/tan and they should start becoming silver around 12/14 weeks. Well, I hope that I helped, and I didn't want to offend anyone, just wanted to share all of my hard work.
The AKC standard to show a yorkie is 4-7 lbs. I have a 9lb purebred yorkie and he is not a silky. There are many people on here with yorkies bigger than 7 lbs and they are purebred.
