Sorry if you thought those comments were directed to you because they were not. If you go back through my threads hopefully you will see that my comments were talking about rescue in general and why we make some of the decisions we do. I sometimes think Rescue gets a bad rap because of all the hoops we make people go through and I can understand this from the people side of the equation but in most cases we are trying to do what is right for the animal. Of course, there are always exceptions to the case.
It would break your heart if you saw some of the conditions the dogs are in when rescue gets them and you would get very angry and try to protect these little ones as much as you can. You would also get angry because you could not understand why didn't they take care of them and just threw them away. Not everyone makes a long term committment like you have.
