Since you have children I understand your reasoning. However, my reasoning is for the good of the pup......Too many times I've seen pups die at children's hands. By your own post, your kids let the dogs out of the crate, resulting in accidental breedings. I've also seen pups placed with young marrieds and they decide to start their family....the dog is pushed by the way side and ends up in rescue.......I understand children should come first, so it's the breeder's responsibility to place the pup in the best possible circumstances. There are statistics and averages, placing these yorkies in families with small children.
