It is fairly common around here. A few solutions others have used are feeding pup a little pineapple every day for a while (it breaks down the protein in the food making it less appetizing). Or put a little meat tenderizer on her food, and pet stores have other stuff to put on food that makes poo taste bad. Some young pups pick up the habit cause their mom's clean up their poo.

Don't despair, they usually get over it.
