akc it nothing about quality; their main job is making sure a yorkshire terrier is bred
to a yorkshire terrier and they expect the buyer to do their homework and study
the standard. That being said, there is no such thing as a perfect dog but then
again there are definite faults that you would not want to reproduce. Take any
harsh comments as a learning experience because you want people to be honest
I would say get out to as many shows as you can to actually see first hand what
the standard looks like or close to it anyway and then work towards that if not
with this dog possibly another. I am not a breeder but I feel strongly that a breeder
should be as ethical as possible. Go to the
www.ytca.org and see what
breeders are doing there. Good Luck
