Go back to training the command to come when called. Come and Stay/Stop are the 2 most important commands you can teach. All of my dogs know exactly what these mean and will not chase if I say stay. You can train her if you repeat it enough and carry thru. If she gets by with it, she will continue to do it.

totally agree - and my boy is still iffy with come in the house - so he is never off lead outside. We do use the retractable lead when I teach come outside where there are every so many distractions. I'm starting to think he's going to be 8 years old before I trust him off lead. lol
