You don't want to give her the idea that it's OK to potty where she sleeps. Honestly the best thing to do (if you can) is to get an exercise pen to put her in when you're away, and put piddle pads inside the pen. If she doesn't have a crate you should really invest in one, as Yorkies need their own space, especially being so small, where they can escape to. Put her bed inside the crate along with her food and water bowl, and she won't potty in there. This is an excellent way to train her. When you leave her alone, put her crate inside of the ex pen, and when she has to potty, she'll come out of the pen and piddle on the pads (hopefully!). Hope this helps! |
