Love I have a little girl

I've read the replies to your question and it seems that every dog is an individual. I have a 9 mo. old female named Biscuit. I have never loved a dog so much. She is very loving and waits in the window watching for me to come home. She is a mama's girl for sure. She only gets hyper when we instigate play. She loves attention and to be on my lap. She is fairly quiet and does not bark a lot. Biscuit sleeps in her little enclosed "house" at night, and because she is so small (4lbs.) I provide a piddle pad for her ONLY at night. The rest of the day she will go outside. I have bowel trained her by mixing a little people food with her food in the morning only, which makes her poop right away. She won't have to poop for the rest of the day (NICE!). After that, we will take her out at specific times to pee. She hasn't been real good at telling us she has to go, but she'll hold it for about 4-5 hours (sometimes more) and I watch the clock. I don't think she wants to go in the house when she has an occassional accident, I just don't think she knows how to communicate. Yorkies are very easy to love, and extremely smart.
