I have always groomed my dogs....Lexi's Mommy is right on, I have done this w/ my pups and it seems to really help. It takes time so be patient! You can also by smaller palm sized clippers...I use these for touching up ears, rump and paw pads....they are usually quiet and if your baby seems to have a problem once you pick the clippers up this may help. Baiting food may also help. Either way, give a special treat after each clipper session, not the typical treat, something extra special, soon they will learn that it always comes after the trim.

Like any training, be vigilant and patient, over time your baby will get used to the way you clip and will be a doll for you. Good luck!!
