Sherman will be 6 months on Jan 29, 2010 and he is 15.3 pounds and gaining steadily. He is not overweight at all per the vet. He is strong and sturdy. In the litter of 5 pups there was a bro and sis weighing just below 5 pounds and then two bros just over 10 pounds and then Sherman Tank at just over 15 pounds. Mom was just over 8 pounds dad was just over 6 pounds. There was such a huge difference of weights in the same litter that I dont see how anyone can predict the weight of a puppy. Somewhere in mom and dads genes there was an EXTRA LARGE SUPERSIZE yorkie gene that 3 of the 5 pups received.
