We have a boy yorkie Sherman Tank almost 6 months and then we have a girl yorkie Bella Mia 2 years 2 months and then we have a boy pound doggie Yogi 9 years.
Bella Mia is 100% my dog. She tolerates the rest of the family and occasionally she will show a bit more affection for the kids 18 (Josh) and 11 (Raeann) and my bf Shaun. She is mean to the cat if she thinks she wont get caught. If someone is crying (useually the 11 year old) she does become a bit motherly as in licking the tears and boogies away. She prances arround the house like a Princess. She is the alpha dog in our house. She occasionally thinks she is the boss of Shaun and the kids but that doesnt fly in our house. She wants to be her own girl, she sleeps under the bed only getting in bed if it is REALLY cold.
Sherman Tank is the most loveable, adoreable, endearing, sweet, floppy, goofy, puppy ever. He loves everyone, people, cats, doesnt matter he is truly a love bug! He does lift his leg and mark but only outside. He does not have a favorite person in our family. He thinks we are all great and lets us know it all the time. He LOVES to be with us sleep with us snuggle with us etc.
Yogi- he is our ultra mellow dog. He shows no aggression whatsoever ever! He put up with the 5 puppies nipping, chasing, hanging, etc on him and NEVER showed a mean bone in his body. He would just try and hide from the pups. He played with them using his nose to just push them around it was sooo cute. Yogi loves everyone in our family no favorite person.
I think our boys are more affectionate to the whole family but Bella Mia makes it known that I am loved to pieces by her. It is like she has dedicated her life to trying to make me happy. This makes it very easy to train her. It seems like she learns her tricks a lot faster than the boys have. She has learned more tricks than the boys have. This is just my experience with our dogs
