It depends on the Yorkie. Scruffs used to try to chase my rabbit (who now passed away), but eventually he got used to them. I still had to supervise 100% of the time but he would mostly ignore him. I don't think he would have ever killed my rabbit he just liked to chase (much like our cat, who chases Scruffs back).
