Oh my! I feel like I have a new born baby! I haven't had a full night sleep since we brought him home. Thanks so much for all the advice -so helpful. Ernie is doing great. You should see him hop and play - absolutely adorable! Crate training was not successful, I cannot stand to hear him cry. However, he is "bed" trained. I put his little bed between myself and my husband at night, and he sleeps there (or next to me) all night. He will stay in it during the day as long as I am nearby, and has never had an accident in it. Potty training is a challenge, but we are doing okay. I do have to wipe him, though, because he cannot quite clean himself adequately yet. Thanks to the comments on this thread, I was so prepared (especially helpful is the nutracal and cheerios). Anyway, he is unbelievably cute and sweet - I was not prepared to fall in love so quickly - but he has won my heart! I will post pics as soon as I figure out how
